Well, I’ve always been interested in math, and I have a talent for it. Since I was small I’ve been good at equations, geometry and stuff. I found math very fun, it’s a challenge to me. So, of course, after some time I entered pre-calculus. Now, in the 12th grade I am taking pre-calculus with my teacher, Brelys. I have to admit it is very challenging for me, and it’s one of the hardest classes I have ever taken. I believe she took classes to be a math or pre-calculus teacher, and graduated to teach the next generations how math works. I think that what I like most about pre-calculus is that it is all logical. If you know the formulas and know how to organize the exercises, it’s just plain simple to do the rest of the process. But it’s also a challenge, because more and more elements in math take part of a once simple exercise. Making it very hard to make sense of anything, but adding challenge to it, and as I said before, the challenging part of it is what I like.
I’m aspiring to study computer science, I want to be a programmer/developer. And that includes a lot of math, and when I say a lot, I mean it basically consists of math. And if the case arose, that computer scientists didn’t make much money (which , in this case, isn’t so), I would study this anyway. Really, I love how programming works and what it implies. Just the fact that I’m going be able to program computers and phones, and basically tell them how they work and what to do. I can see myself in a future, programming. I don’t know what, or where, but I’ll be programming for a fact. And I can definitely see myself doing this in the future, or for the rest of my life. And it all started with me getting interested in math, and proceeding to learn more about it. And pre-calculus is basically a first step to begin programming anything.
